Casa Pino is a beautiful stone village house with the unusual bonus of a garden. It is set on a small piazza in the lovely Tuscan village of Pontito, located in the Appenine hills between Florence and Pisa.

The house is owned by an Italian family who have used it as their summer home. It is in good structural condition, and comes furnished in a provincial Italian style, including beds, tables, chairs, crockery and cutlery, and is ready for immediate use.

Pontito is pretty medieval hill village that takes a great pride in its appearance. In spring and summer all the winding streets are filled with an abundance of floral colour.

It has typically tuscan exposed beam ceilings with ancient mezzane tiles.

The owner's business keeps them so busy that they hardly use the home and are now looking to sell.

The garden is about 8 metres by 6 metres and has views up the hill towards the church and across the valley.

The Garden needs a little TLC, but will become a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the Tuscan weather. It will only take little work to maintain, and provides an ideal venue for Al fresco dining.

The streets of Pontito are full of colour.

Everyone takes a pride in this little village.

 

There is a village shop and Bar, and there are numerous restaurants in the surrounding villages .

There is also a regular bus service into the nearby market town of Pescia.

The village retains all of its ancient charm.

There is always a quiet place to stop and enjoy the views.
